eefje00704You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes. Please copy the topics below, erase my answers and put yours in their place, and then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration. One-Word-Answers seldom help anyone out.

1. First Name: Eva
2. Age: 21, I'll be 22 next August.
3. Location: A little village in the middle of Flanders, Belgium. About an hour from Brussels.
4. Occupation: Student. English and Dutch philology at the Catholic University of Leuven. I'm currently in my fourth year, the master year. Which means writing tons of papers for my courses AND a master thesis. Yay. I could stop after this year, but I'm going to do an extra year to get my teaching degree (don't know if that's the right English term) and maybe another year after that for an extra master in translating.
5. Partner?: No. I've never had a boyfriend, I've never even been kissed. I blame it on my lack of social skills, and the fact that I'm slightly overweight. My family is always saying that I need to go to parties to find myself a boyfriend. But why would I go to parties with deafeningly loud music, cigarette smoke everywhere, drunk teenagers, fighting teenagers, and people who are constantly spilling beer on you, while I want a guy who doesn't like any of those things either? They don't understand my logic.
6. Kids: None. See above. I do want them, both biological and adopted.
7. Brothers/Sisters: I have a sister, Nina, she's 18. She's everything that I'm not. Popular, pretty, lots and lots of social skills. Likes going to parties.
8. Parents: Still married. I live with them and my sister.
9. Who are some of your closest friends? My two best friends from Uni, and my group of friends from high school, although we don't see each other often anymore. And my sister.
Other things you may like to know: I like animals. I'm obsessed with giraffes and I have a lot of animals at home. An 8 year old Jack Russel, a 16 years old orange Canary bird, and aquarium with tropical fish inside the house. I had a cat too, but we had to have her put down two years ago. Outside we have rabbits (for meat), ranging from one to 20 depending on the time of year, white goats (for milk), 6 at the moment, chickens (for eggs), 7 right now, and pigeons (my dad races them), probably about 150 now. No, I don't live on a farm. I'm also a little bit obsessed with Ancient Egypt, and as a teenager I wanted to be an archaeologist. Oh yes, and I want to move to a warmer climate. Australia would be nice.Or Egypt ;)
I play The Sims 2 only, not 3. I can recolour objects, and I'd love to learn how to make bodyshop related things.
